Mani,

Microsoft was declared a Monopoly long ago. I repeat what I just said in the previous post....

Beside, DOJ and Janet Reno investigated Microsoft years ago and to my dismay just gave them a warning. They investigated them for anti competitive monopolistic behavior. They said, don't do it again because "we are watching you!". I remember these exact words from Janet Reno's mouth in a conference call years ago.

Isn't there any formal legal document or agreement needed for this? Is an accusation settled out of court and a statement in the press conference all that is needed? To me, it is very ambiguous. I think the DOJ may have a communication problem. I was under the impression that it was the current trial that was trying to establish whether MSFT is or is not a monopoly.
