Sorry to see you leave us, Sham. You are fairly reticent about it, I hope you will be OK.

I have an fun weekend ahead. We have about 300 Lindyhoppers from all over the country, going to Ithaca, New York, (home of Cornell University), to hook up with 100 local dancers for a 4 day Lindy party. We live with the local dancers, dance Thur through Sun nite, and dance afternoons at local outdoor locations, (if the weather permits!).

These dancers are a younger version of our crowd, with the love of dance added. I have traveled the country dancing with this sub-culture, and they are all outgoing, intelligent, friendly, optimistic people who enjoy each others company. "Birds of a feather flock together", and you sure see that in these dance weekends and in the San Diego weekend that we all had at the Qualcomm meeting.

I am staying in a local motel with two ladies from Toledo who I met on a weekend two months ago in Denver. Two gorgeous 26 year olds that are fantastic dancers. I pick them up at the Greyhound Bus Station Friday morning, after an overnight trip from Ohio.

The Greyhound pickup is such an obvious joke that I told them I would wear my "Superfly" outfit to pick them up, and then I would "turn them out". We could make the weekend expenses by noon!

So don't look for me on line this weekend, people, I will be having too much fun!!!!!

All I know about Cornell is that old Parody:

"Far above Cayuga's waters,
theres an awful smell,
50,000 college students,
died for old Cornell!"

Hey its my last day for a while, you are suppose to be nice.

Talk to me by PM or on the other thread, and I'll be sickeningly nice. But I'm not going to risk curmudgeon jail by being nice to you here.
