There is some interesting work which charts the amount of money coming into the market with the market itself. Goes back to before 1929. The correlation is so close it gives you chills.

I'll go along with those reasons. Also, O.18 migration, followed by 0.13, 0.10... The time between geometry refinements seems to be shrinking, which can only help companies like AMAT.

I didn't mean to say higher P/E's are justified. I wondered if the reason that they were higher was because more people traded nowadays. I've never heard anyone mention that angle so I was curious.
