Other than the trading support, most of the changes for version 7 seem cosmetic and lightweight.

Alan, I must respectfully disagree. For example, having Stop Limit orders for Nasdaq is a huge advance for people who had to rely on mental stops before. Same with Conditional Orders, which are extremely flexible. But then again, maybe I don't understand what you are saying. Could you elaborate on the sentence above and the one below? Thanks in advance.

I like RealTick III, but I wonder if they understand the competition that has grown around them.

Also, I don't believe they have log charts in v 7. I will double-check, though. It certainly would be nice if they did.

For those who don't know what a log chart is, it uses a logarithmic scale rather than a linear scale -- for more info on them see:

Allen,

You've brought up a good point in that the competition is becoming obvious for R/T. I'm certain Marqwin and Stuart Townsend are fully aware. I give them credit, they took the early bet in this game and won!

With consolidation taking place, being driven by the asset grab for the e-accounts with technology, I wonder, in who's hands does TAL's R/T and its service bureau land?

Regards,
