management solutions, today announced availability of the NetCache(TM) C1100 Web
caching and streaming media appliance. NetCache appliances deliver a scalable
infrastructure platform for the management of Web content, content distribution, and service
delivery for enterprise customers and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
The NetCache C1100 offers improved scalability and further extends Network
Appliance(TM) infrastructure solutions to the edge of the network and closer to the end user.
Ideal for enterprise remote offices and ISP point-of-presence (POP) deployment, the
NetCache C1100 supports the broadest set of Internet protocols including HTTP, FTP, and
NNTP, as well as all three leading streaming media formats.

Cache Control Protocol (WCCP), Network Element Control Protocol (NECP), and is

NetCache C1100 ships with one 9GB SCSI hard disk drive, 256MB SDRAM, dual
10/100Mb Ethernet ports and supports multiple T1 connections for HTTP caching and
