We are having a semantics problem here, but it is not an uncommon one.

You are using the words "price" and "value" to mean the same thing, while I am using them in the economics sense, where they mean two quite different things. I am using "price" to refer to what someone is asking you to pay, or will pay you, for an object at a given point in time, while "value" is an assessment of the worth of this same object in terms of its ability to produce a return.
