Sorry if it didn't get out there right... and how about a manners course for you? You can make your point in a less acerbic manner and still convey your thoughts.

I agree with you on that one....there is a right way and a wrong way to talk to people.

That was an example of the wrong way.

Sorry, Ted. I like to be 'colorful' in words. First Amendment or something like that. Or I've watched too much CNN Crossfire. I bet you yourself swear from time to time when you are not on the tube?

The 'intended' question you restated wasn't what I referred to but ITSELF doesn't make sense! The question I singled out was pointedly refuted by the Baldhead when he stated other companies make apps that run on Windows without writing the ops itself.

I was disappointed that when you had the opportunity to ask questions with regard to what might affect consumers, or the great damage done to the state pension funds that invest in MSFT (the very same states whose AGs sue Microsoft), etc. you delved into the technical issues that neither you nor the Baldie could properly address.

In general, I am disappointed at the incompetence of media people when it comes to computing. Recently the ambulance chaser Nader made a stupid statement on CNN that 'Windows is inferior to Unix, Mac OS and BE' and no-one even tried to question this moronic claim. What does this idiot know about OS to make this kind of judgment? Does it make sense to say ambulance is superior to bus, station wagon, or GM sedan? Arcane commands aside, how is Unix superior to Windows when I need to run a DOS program that I've been using for years? ...
