HJ, have you really never gotten killed in a short position?
I've been badly bruised at least 10 times shorting stocks in a snorting bull market. McDonald Douglas, Holly Sugar, Micron Technology -- too painful to recount all of them.

Mr. Market may charge high tuition sometimes, but the lessons are generally worthwhile.
