lurknomore: According to myTrack, there was a company called "Steering Control Systems" that traded on the NAZ at some point under the symbol SROL -- but that's ALL I've been able to find so far. Otherwise, haven't been able to track down any news-stories or any kind of historical data -- or anything linking it to the symbol STCS.

My GUESS (and that's all it is) is that this company may have changed its symbol from SROL to STCS at some point, then either gone out of business or changed symbols again.

The bottom line, though, should be that if you in fact bought STCS on Friday -- when it IPO'd -- then your broker certainly SHOULD have had its database updated so as to make sure you bought the new stock and not an old one using the same symbol. And if the broker screwed up in that respect, I would certainly EXPECT it to take care of the problem without any liability on your part.

Good Luck (I'd be curious to know what happens, so hope you'll either post the results or let me know by PM if you have a chance)...
