Schwab just raised margin requirements today on ELON from 35 to 60% - that fact is omitted from their web page, and the rep told me that they have "lots and lots" of stocks for which the requirement is less than 100%, but are not listed there.

I am royally pissed off!

Does anyone have any suggestions for brokers who do not have so many stocks on their "extra margin requirements" list?

i've been on velocity all morning. it had a slight 'hiccup' prior to open, but has been normal since.
