Yeah--- I think the whole deal with Reno is completely separate from the issue about Elian. My point was that you can FEEL lots of ways but you've been presenting the deadbeat dad, absentee, nonsupport--- as if it were a fact. I think that's wrong. That's all. Everything isn't circumstantial-- for instance- the relative's DUIs, felonies, hospitalizations, the terrible tape of Elian, the odd presence of Donato in their lives....these are all documented facts. The five months is a fact. BUt we don't know why it happened. The raid, the gun, is fact. BUt I think now we're getting such a bombardment of opinions disguised as facts, we should try hard to separate them, at least in our own writing. That's all. Not a huge thing.
