Initially, this sounds very good. I'd imagine that other banks could follow on if this proves to enhance credit card security. Just recently, I had my credit card NUMBER stolen. I didn't realize it because I still had the card. Fortunately, my credit card company didn't allow the transaction, and they called me about it, but I had to cancel my card and re-open a new account. Credit card theft is definitely becoming more and more of a problem.
