Can someone tell me what the purpose of this thread is? I thought it was to discuss how to invest based on GG's methodology. That is, how do you take his insights and translate them into investment decisions. That would include discussing the validity of the insights themselves. What seems to me less than helpful is to endlessly debate whether GG has some ulterior motive in mentioning particular technologies or companies. I don't give a hoot about his motives, his credentials or his political connections. I want to know whether his insights are correct or not.

Now, I don't really have standing to complain as I am mainly a lurker trying to pick up a few crumbs of other folks' wisdom. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about technology to be much of a contributor but, damn it, I miss some of the information that used to be a feature of this thread.

Quit the silliness, please. Is GG right or wrong? That's all I want to know.

Yes they have great insight and research materials at there fingertips for finding great Stocks. Although you won't know this unless your on the private site he's called two great long stocks (as well as numerous shorts) that have risen above GGs pick last week and this week FWIW. There both good. I think he is content to make lots of mulla in quiet some times though.
