Tazio, you and I are in sync on everything you said, including impatience and heathen credentials. :) What may look like patience is just training and experience in facilitating groups in consensus decision making. In those situations, the facilitator cannot let a few outliers become disruptive or go off and sulk in the corner. Everyone must be part of the consensus. One of the reasons I have enjoyed doing that kind of work is that I continue to be amazed by how well it can work, even in the most discordant groups. The people who trained me have credits from some international accords that you would recognize. I've only used it in an office environment but, heck, if the process can get a bunch of office mates to agree on who gets the window offices it can do anything. <vbg>
