Well, Microsoft has not been dumping their product, quite the contrary. So Word Perfect is losing on its own merits, or lack thereof. The reasons are many and the combination of Novell's old Word Processor with Borland's old database and spreadsheet aren't cutting it. How long will Corel keep tinkering with that old code? The Corel products are not superior: that's empty rhetoric from the losing side of a battle that was over 10 years ago.
