I have to laugh.
This is fact. Grocery stores purposefully rearrange their inventory at regular intervals so as to cause the customer to have to search for product. In doing this they cause the customer to "view" more of the store and hopefully pick up a few items other than the one they specifically came in for. This happens in same store and across stores in a chain. Across stores, they make a point not to set up two stores the same.

Ah yes, ever wonder how they price tickets? There is a company that makes software for this purpose...it maximizes revenue while creating confusion. Oops...
