note the absolutely disingenuous argumentation put forward by the people opposing the new disclosure rules...note also that 2 out of 5 SEC board members are among the opposing voices. no, we don't hope for cushy WS jobs after we retire from the SEC, no way, anybody who thinks so needs his head examined...<vbg> so we don't want to tighten the rules on selective disclosure because it might get even more selective? we don't want to make a new law because we know there will be the odd people breaking it? the logic is breathtaking....
