TP: I tend to agree with you about Microsoft...Yet, they will fight this proposed government intervention with the best legal talent that big money can buy. Of course that doesn't mean that they are right. Who's watching out for the consumers anyway? Sometimes 'a Gorilla' like MSFT may become too powerful....some like Intel are open minded and pro-actively work with the government to settle anti-trust concerns....others (like Microsoft) are stubborn and refuse to admit they may have gone too far. It's difficult for great companies to be humble ;-)

at least this much. And whatever those APIs are, I hope
they be worth all this turmoil.
