take risks in volatile stocks and accept the fact that they have big swings.

pardon me (& correct me), if i have mis-understood : My impression is that the G&K methodology is aimed towards, "lower than normal risk" alongside "higher than normal rewards" - both over a long period of time.

"volatility" and "swings" just dont jell with me - IMHO they are short term phenomena. Your opinion may vary.

cheers, kumar

INTF--waste of time/money

Can some please PM me (if necessary) with an explanation why INTF is being discussed on the G&K thread at all? It's not a gorilla. It's not a king. It is at best a potential prince, perhaps someday.

Technology niche. Silly software.

I say PM me in order to avoid tekboy's wrath if any more INTF bloat gets posted here. Even Mathemagician's Project Hunt report speaks of an "impending tornado" (i.e. a clever way of saying there is no tornado). INTF's own revenue numbers look decrepit. As a result, please take further discuss of this mediocre microcap that missed to the INTF thread.

INTF is neither a gorilla nor King portfolio candidate. I believe the word candidate in the thread name allows for discussion of companies that are not yet a G or a K. But further discussion of INTF makes the word "candidate" in the thread's name a farce.
