<<How would I search for Pat's brilliant postings?>>

GG,

SI has a great bookmark feature (unfortunately your forum on GilderTech.com does not have it! At least it does not work very well at all!)

To answer your question, to look up all of Pat's posts her e on SI, click here:

Member 1849400

Then click on "People mark this profile". From that point on you will be able to see all of that person's posts (new and old) easily in one place in the future.

I wish you could ask your staff at the Gilder Technology Group to fix your forum software to included this very useful feature. Your staff tried to put the feature in at the new site, but it simply does not work as it should, they need to fix it.

The same goes for "Subject mark".

While I am on this subject I might as well speak my mind ...

You should ask your staff to just copy the way things work on SI 100%, not more, not less. SI has been at this for years, they have perhaps millions of people using this site. Its features are simply excellent. So, why re-invent the wheel all over again at your shop? Just copy SI 100%, not more & not less.

For example, you see how all the posts on this thread are shown in order (ie. all the replies). But your site have sub-threads under the main subject thread. That is a very poor human interface because it's hard to keep up with a discussion that way as the days go by. The way it works here on SI is much better.

Please don't take this the wrong way. I love the GTR. I am just trying to make your site better.
