Alex,

Speaking of classic...someone keeps sending me game magazines and I read through CGW last night. There's a short mention of gaming "payola" with a photo of "John Romero's DK" on the "Top 10 Games" shelf. Instead of the actual game, there is a note saying something to the fact of "we apologize this game hasn't been released yet."

So you have an unreleased (at that time) game which has already made it into the "top 10" of sales. It was hard to tell, but the shelf looked like CompUSA. Eidos must be scrambling on this one (DK in general).

I used to live in LA and I worked downtown on the 46th floor of a high-rise. Once or twice a year, you could see the ocean from my office. Every time I went to Santa Monica I used to think....who gets anything done with the beach outside the office? Now I think I understand Interstate '82...poor Raven, where are they...Minnesota? Maybe they like it there.
