Casaubon, i think the main risks apart from the one you mentioned, i.e. research doesn't pan out in clinical trials or the competition is faster, is that financing might dry up should the economy and the markets slow down. you're of course right that the long term prospects for the biotech industry are absolutely great. in fact a long term investor will probably do quite well by picking up a basket of biotech stocks at the current depressed levels. regards, hb
