ISSI Announces Two New 4Mb Leading Edge Speed SRAMs New High Speed Asynchronous Devices Target Datacom and Telecom Applications SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISSI - news) today introduced two new 4 Mbit Asynchronous SRAMs with access times as fast as 10ns. These new 3.3V devices, IS61LV25616 and IS61LV5128, have TTL compatible interface levels and are pin compatible with lower density devices. This compatibility could significantly shorten the time needed to upgrade existing boards and systems and greatly simplify such an upgrade. These devices are targeted for a broad range of telecom and networking applications. ``These new devices further demonstrate our commitment to being the complete SRAM supplier,'' said Tom Doczy, ISSI's senior vice president of sales and marketing. ``ISSI supports high speed asynchronous and synchronous SRAMs as well as ultra-low-power SRAMs in a wide spectrum of densities.'' Price, Packaging and Availability In quantities of 10,000 the 10ns IS61LV25616 is priced at $10.95 in the BGA package, $10.75 in the LQFP package, $10.45 in the TSOP package and $9.95 in the SOJ package. The same speed IS61LV5128 is priced at $9.95 in the SOJ package and $10.45 in the TSOP package. Samples are now available with volume shipments beginning in Q3 2000.
