Do you think St. Augustine lived to see his grass named after him? Just wondering.

Would he be surprised?

Angry?

No, he couldn't be angry ~ he's a saint.

Still; it's kind of belittling.
I mean, it wouldn't be for me, having a grass; but he's a saint. "St Augustine's pencil."

"Grass? Grass?? Why....I oughta....."

God: "Think of how many footsteps you've softened. And problem parking strips."

He rumbles out to the potting shed and calls St. Elmo.

CB, All I know is that there are other alternatives to chemical warfare against bugs and weeds. The wheat farmers in the area from mid-Nebraska, to the Texas Pan Handle, where we did custom cutting, did NOT use DDT, and they still experienced yields that have seldom been matched, and not yet exceeded, according to those that grow the stuff, that now use the crop dusters. Besides, you were the one complaining about pesticides across the road, and all this hullabaloo started when I supported your position but, accidently, sent it to the wrong person. It's almost like saying, what's good for the goose, is NOT good for the gander. ~H~
