Television Broadcast Magazine awarded Accom's new WSD©/HD Digital Disk Recorder with an Editors' Pick of Show Award and Post Magazine recognized Accom's Abekas© 8150 Digital Compositing Switcher with Integrated DVE by presenting them with a Post Award.
The Television Broadcast Editors' Pick of Show award was given to 50 notable products at the NAB show for their uniqueness and/or practicality for use in the real world. Television Broadcast magazine puts together a group of approximately 25 industry professionals who suggest nominees and from there, a close panel of 10 people actually pick the winners. Only professionals in the field served by a product or technology can actually vote for a product or technology to be Pick of Show. The Editors' Pick of Show has been awarded since 1996.
