Interesting about Lou Reed. I didn't know that he was a member of the All Night Workers. It makes sense since he was an undergrad at Syracuse University about the time that the All Night Workers were alive and kicking. I know that at the time of Don't Put All Your Eggs In One Basket Otis Smith was the lead vocalist. In my opinion that song was the best local non-national hit from this area. Musically, it was a fine R&B song.

Another very good local R&B group at the time was Wilmer Alexander and The Dukes. One of these days I'll try to put together a tape of a few local hits of that time frame and get it to you for your opinion.
