Aside the market forgets that GE is a financial institution and not a manufacturer anymore. The risk in GE is huge. To sell more engines to a client they financed 3 airplanes and invested in the charter company around $8 million.

Well for the same charter company, I was unable to place $7 million in debt due to the risky nature of their business even will all the company stock pledged against that loan.

Not a hell of a lot but representative of the risks they are taking.
