tb, FWIW, I just got off the phone with Gemstar's IR ( Cathy Thomer {sp} ) . She stated that the earnings will be released at the end of this month. Gemstar will release both quarterly and year end results. She said to call back in a few weeks and then they will have a date for both reports. She also stated that they are complying with the DOJ for the TVG merger and expect it to be completed by the end of the second quarter or sooner. I asked if there were any problems so far in the process. She explained that it takes time with the government and they have had no set backs or surprises. I inquired about these "Senators" and she again stated that they will have no impact on the merger. In summary, Gemstar's IR dept was very confident that they have provided all the information for the DOJ and expect approval soon, it could come in May, however she stated no later than June.
