That is true. Intelligence just makes a good education worthwhile. But there are lots of people who get ground through the cogs of college without becoming educated at all. I think we've all met extremely intelligent people who were not educated- although most of the ones that I've met (maybe all of them) became self educated about SOMETHING. I don't know who as dibs on common sense. Certainly political people don't. And folks in the media seem to have very little. And those people Mr X watches on Jerry Springer <shudder> have NONE.
