I feel like I am in the twilight zone reading some of these posts. Wasn't it AMD which has a multi-year history of overpromising deliveries and pricing? Sure, Intel has had some black eyes, but those guys learn from their mistakes every time. I expect to see them throw all necessary resources into the Willy rollout to make it the "biggest" "must have" "unbelievable" event since the original Pentium. Rambus will be right alongside...all as part of the "solution of multi-gig processing speeds". And, as Dave B. has forecast, look for a price war designed to ensure the Willy gets as much high end market share as Intel wants. I don't think Gateway will hesitate to switch camps once again if the $$$$ are there.

Scumbria, As long as Col. Sanders is in charge, AMD is not a threat to anyone. They are nothing more that a nuisance that Intel knows it must live with, to keep Reno's lawyers at a distance.
