Is it just me, or does this 3m chart of the SOXX index look rather ominous?

Dear Jim:

"I'm sure that you don't own your own business."

Sorry! I do have my own small business. I help my old clients (some have called on me for 18 years) with their computer problems. I have built computer based business systems for them through the years. I support them (as long as they pay me). I am not a Liberal! Just because I want to see the laws apply to ALL. That includes very rich people, large corporations, large associations, politicians, and attorneys. I do not like the fact that laws do not seem to apply to them, when they apply to me. Remember the "Too Big to Fail Doctrine" as applied to banks?

I have seen very poorly thought out rules and laws by the government and make it known to them when I find out about them. Other laws appear to have pluses and minuses but, in the whole are OK. Some laws like the Sherman Antitrust Law make good sense except for the fact that it treats middle sized companies less strictly than very large companies. Many of the prohibitions that apply only to monopolies should apply to all (the practice should be abolished). "Tying" and "Extortion" should never be allowed. Being a monopoly makes these practices easier to perform, but they are not impossible.

Pete
