Charges of running over her husband and of knocking him 20 feet into a ditch were both dropped today after a surprised witness stepped forward to tell of horrid days--and nights of abuse. Bucky, a penniless artist who labored out of a small garret in the town's ghetto district, appeared in front of the court clad in poetry garments to tell of horrific nights spent alone in his room, with only the singing and spitting of alley cats for companionship.

"Bapoo gave NOTHING to the arts", cried Bucky as he steadied himself on the witness stand while waves of self pity washed over him. "He is responsible for the unhappiness of thousands of human beings whose only guilt was the desire and hope of earning their living in a manner of their own choosing, to wit: painting, drawing, and writing smut".

The Court was told that Sherry had befriended Bucky 7 years, 4 months, 3 days and 5 hours previous and was attempting to hug him as a prelude to therapeutic sex when the aforementioned Bapoo went berserk and kicked them both out of his bedroom.

The Court was moved by Bucky's pathetic presentation and ordered Sherry to be released, and Bapoo's hospital treatment to be discontinued. Bucky will be appearing on Jay Leno during the first week of June.
