That sounds like the old "they aren't my drugs officer" excuse. Just because Aaron Podhurst says so, doesn't make it so. I don't understand why they needed to make a deal anyhow? Let's say my friend's kid is over for the weekend and my friend needs to pick him up. We talk on the phone and work out a place and time that is convient for him to pick up his kid. It's not a complicated matter, that needs a deal to be struck to complete. The family had ample time to turn Elian over to his father and say their proper goodbyes. Were they going to do so five minutes later, we'll never know.
