Reliable sources tell me that there is a major deal in the making.
Possibilities are
1. ASIC spinoff.
2. Gloabalstar selloff
3. Whole QCOM sellfoff

QC + NOK/MOT?

i've heard the whole thing will be sold off soon, but the 1st major news deals with QCT (ASICs div) and
NOK. imminent sale of div to NOK (who doesn't want to buy QC chipsets). another win for irwin here, as
the price will be RIGHT. p.s. new building going up on Morehouse campus in San Diego, right next to L,
M and T. building will be 'for ASICS'.

i believe (fewer sources here) that G* selloff is imminent, too.

but then: what do i know? "They" said infrastructure div wasn't for sale!

good luck to all longs

And from this afternoon:

There is defintely some substance behind this.
All the activity happening in QCOM san diego office indicates that a deal is in the making.
Just dont know what it is.
