So if your young son was in the custody of your relatives down in Cuba after he almost died at sea for whatever reason, would you wait four months to go there and see him, because you were "afraid" of your Cuban relatives?
If your answer is yes, then you would be a full fledged coward to me, with the fear for your own skin overriding your love and "parental instinct" to come to your son's aid.
And not only that, but if I were someone like Elian, after I grew up and found out that my father could have seen me much sooner than he did, I would even call him a coward to his face. I'm not playing games here, as I am very serious about this. Yogi
