I brought along my notes from the ole Kope thread...

y'know: money loser, price rocketing, strange affair

This is a better place for 'em.

No ADR yet. I had a chat with someone at SOITEC USA a year ago, and he said they planned on applying for a NASDAQ listing in about two years. Perhaps they'd like to achieve profitability first? The stock has performed very well trading just in France. Nevertheless, a U.S. listing would give them a broader shareholder base and greater access to capital.

Would you like to know how well it's performed?: today's close was 310 Euros, there are 5,278,400 shares outstanding, and their sales for the year ended March 31 were 16.3 million Euros or 3.1 Euros per share. That works out to about 100 times sales. I double-checked that, by the way. The IPO, "au Nouveau Marché de la Bourse de Paris," was February 9, 1999 at 28 Euros.
