Hey, SNDK made another 10 million - on paper that is.

The current value of the UMC stock keeps going up!
Today's close 107 T$ = 3.48511 US$
133.20 x 3.48511 = 464.21 million dollars.

The way things are going, its likely to be a 1/2 billion dollar asset in no time.

The book value of SNDK just keeps going up, up, up.

By the way, anyone else bothered by this quote in the CBS Market Watch article: "I believe we are even losing some market share because of it." (taking about lack of capacity).

First, I don't know who said it - Eli or Frank.

Second, if the quote is right, its a real slip as far as I'm concerned. Say - "We are arranging to obtain increased capacity to meet the record demand." Don't say your inability to produce is causing loss of market share. GOD!!

Mike

>>ÿ OT "Handspring retail debut becomes instant chart-topper

PalmOS licensee Handspring's retail debut last month saw the company beat Palm Computing to the top of the PDA sales chart, "<<

Well, all I can say is I really like my Handspring Visor Deluxe. I'll like it even better when the MP3/voice recorder Module from Innogear becomes available. It uses Sandisk MMC for storage.
