BBAN Reaffirms Commitment to Domestic Wireless Implementation; Management Moves to Protect Shareholder Interests

CISCO, Texas and OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2000-- BroadBAND Wireless International Corporation (OTCBB: BBAN) assembled its officers and directors from their appointments from around the world to gather in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma today in order to address shareholders concerns and outline the company's programs for the continued growth of BBAN.

The officers and directors of BBAN will take every action necessary to protect its shareholders. Management has reemphasized that its primary responsibility is to insure the success of the company and the interests of its stockholders.

At the direction of the Officers and Directors of BBAN, investigations have been initiated in order to determine the possible necessity of remedial actions which may include the filing of law suits and the seeking of injunctions where appropriate.

BBAN will immediately occupy and staff its offices in the Oklahoma Tower, 210 Park Avenue, Suite 2100, in downtown Oklahoma City in order to support its retail and domestic wireless operations. All equipment purchased by BBAN will be immediately returned to inventory and all assets, leases and licenses guaranteed or otherwise financed will be immediately protected by the corporation.

The Board of Directors is currently reviewing all contracts executed by the company since January 2, 2000, in order to determine whether there may have been any improprieties or breaches of fiduciary responsibilities during that period. Management is conferring closely with corporate counsel during this process.

To insure the continued success of the corporation in the build-out of high speed wireless internet networks in the domestic markets, BBAN has called in its engineers from the International Division. Our chief engineer from Rhiad has worked directly with Cisco Systems for the last three months in the development of the wireless network and its deployment. ITell, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of BBAN, is dedicating staff to the domestic division in order to immediately implement the build-out of our domestic network.

The International Division continues to develop the "Global Virtual Private Network" and the "Phone Company In A Box" for delivery and installation in developing nations. High speed wireless internet services are an integral part of the network design for Mexico, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and Panama. BBAN will take this technology to the entire Global Virtual Private Network, both domestically and internationally.

The contracts for minutes originating from the United States with termination in Mexico are currently operational. In addition, iTell, Inc. is experiencing frequent situations in which customers continue to increase their contracts. As a result, BBAN projects that contracts may exceed 500,000,000 minutes per month. To support this volume of traffic, BBAN is currently upgrading its switches in New York and acquiring additional switches in Dallas.

The company's Auditors are currently preparing the year end financial statements for the fiscal year which ended March 31, 2000, including audits for BBAN's wholly owned subsidiaries, iTell, Inc. and GKD Inc. Management is aware of the desirability of providing audited financial statements to the investment community, which may also be utilized in the planned application for listing on Nasdaq.
