adval: Way to go! Where do you live i.e. What State? I have never understood why the consumer has not been harmed in the other 31 states - are they computer deficient?
And what is it that these states feel the need to address here? This whole thing is finally getting the scrutiny it deserves and T Pinhead and the DOJ are going to come out looking bad while losing this whole case.

MSFT asked for an extension in their response due 5/10/2000 to counter the DOJ proposals on the grounds that their needs to be a whole new round of discovery giventhe fact that the remedies overreach the bounds of the original indictment. If this is not granted TPJ will be giving the Appeals Court more ammo for overturning this verict on a procedural basis. MSFT lawyers are good at corporate law and not so good in a kangaroo court. But this is really not a F Lee Bailey case although it has been tried that way. MSFT is just starting to fles real legal and judicial muscle based on law and very recent precedent. And now since Janet Reno says we are country of laws then let the games begin!JFD
