Not sure. However, if earnings are going to be affected because the same companies that trying to increase their deployments are being pinched with slower sales, then those discretionary buys might be less frequent.

Some would argue that you can't slow your life's blood, however you'll do just about anything to keep your earnings growth alive and vibrant. If it means less spending somewhere, then you'll do it. Recessions clean out waste and excesses, too. Only the strongest, smartest survive.

People cost the most, and that would be the first thing to go. Shedding people is the first signs of a recession, and when the Fed would stop. Hopefully they 'READ' recession BEFORE too many people go out of work.

Then they ease........slowly..... and back up we potentially go.
