Ted,

they had better speed up the ramp of Dresden

I may be wrong, but I have the impression that Dresden silicon just became production worthy in the last month. It is a huge task bringing up a new design (T-Bird) in a brand new fab, with a brand new process, running at over 1GHz. Frankly, I'm amazed at how quickly and painlessly the whole bringup appears to have been. The entire K7 story has been a wonder to behold.

If AMD is screwing up, please let's discuss it. I just haven't seen much evidence to support such an argument. Their ramps seem to be ahead of schedule, based on their stated goals earlier in the year.
