Seems to me like this is not the cause for the "problem" but just is exposing AMD's weakness on the infrastructure side.

I double-agree. You can't bet the farm every quarter. And let's not forget, that in addition to the significant effort involved in a ramp, that you have the accounting impact. Frankly, I think AMD is very well positioned, everything considered.
