how was puerto penasco?

Well on one hand then scene was a little too much gringo for my taste. OTOH if your in Puerto Pe¤asco with your motor home parked on the beach of the Sea of Cortez, dining on fresh shrimp, scollop, and clam purchased from wharf shops that day, what's not to like?

as if it were to be the last one for me."
--Andre Gid‚ (Journals)

Unfortunately, a very dry (la Ni¤a) year kept the spring bloom in the Anza Borrego (part of the Sonoran) desert to a minimum. Still at the right location with the right light, you could get an orange-red Ocotillo "haze" dancing above the horizon.

Friendship is a sheltering tree."
