Wow, what a statement!......I've been doing that for 2 yrs. only now it's getting harder.<g>

With the Fed determined to slow our prosperous economy and kill the Market cash cow makes it's almost impossible to invest traditional methods. An aggressive FED is hard to fight....so far the feds methods haven't slowed the economy...I mean fight inflation....? Perhaps the FED's strategy is faulty? Fact is the economy has slowed. I feel they should wait a period of time to see the effects of 5 rate increases. Getting more aggressive can't be good. At what point do we damage the economy? Breaking up MSFT is another attempt to weaken the US economy.....perhaps the Euro will go up then...and Japan and Germany can rise into leadership again?

Put me in a time machine...going forward 9 months....will I feel better or worse or just be paying higher credit card interest?

OJ
I'm lost. I have followed this thread for 2 months or so and joined MArket Gems Monday. They send out stocks, prices, 1/3 volumes and a bunch of other unexplained numbers. What are they for? I have e-mailed asking for their help and have been told to go through their 'Links'. To me it's like being back in HS algebra with a teacher who could barely speak english. When someone asked a question she would tap the chalk on the board on the problem but could not give an explaination.

Take EP # 6
6>XXXX - Name
VL/30=63.4 %Rnge= 82.0 Sto9V=48
W14dV=47.0 %Hi4 = 84.5 1-Dy = N/a 50MA = 88.6
21MA = 95.3

I can take the stock and do my P%F analysis and other DD but what am I supposed to be getting from the numbers & figures.

Help!!! Someone, PLEASE

FTV2

OJ, what do you think? - "Seven in 10 day traders lose money," said Bradley Skolnik, Indiana's securities commissioner and president of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA). "Anyone who tries to tell you otherwise isn't being straight with you. Always ask yourself: if this person really has figured out a fool-proof way to make money day trading, why are they selling it to total strangers? Why aren't they day trading themselves?"

This from yesterdays WSJ article "Day Trading Advisors Targeted by Federal Law Enforcers" (see below).
