International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd - Post says Wayside is a Hot Stock International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd IWA Shares issued 27,403,013 2000-05-02 close $2.03 Wednesday May 3 2000 The Financial Post reports in a Hot Stock corporate profile in its Wednesday edition that International Wayside Gold Mines has put life into its stock price by showing there is life in British Columbia's historic Barkerville gold camp. Reporter John Schreiner says the Vancouver-based junior last month reported last month the discovery of what Jim Mustard, an analyst at Haywood Securities, calls a "totally new, unrecognized style of gold mineralization." The stock, which peaked at $2.60, up from 13 cents at the beginning of the year, fell 17 cents to $2.03 on Tuesday as the market waits for more results. The discovery has touched off a new staking rush at Barkerville. International Wayside has invited analysts, geologists and even television crews to the site. With another $1-million coming into its treasury from an exercise of warrants, it is ramping up the drill program. Mr. Mustard recommends the stock as a "speculative buy." International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd has put life into its stock price by showing there is life in British Columbia's historic Barkerville gold camp. The Vancouver -based junior last month reported the discovery of what Jim Mustard an analyst at Haywood Securities Inc. calls a "a totally new unrecognized style of gold mineralization." The high grade assay results reported this spring, including a 25.4 meter intersection grading 0.72 oz a ton propelled the shares from 13 cents at the beginning of the year to a recent high of $2.80. The company expects to release assays on two holes this week and Frank Callaghan, the president says the core "looks great." More... but I can't type that fast.
