ATTP is following through with what they started. I think that's what is good. It's easy to announce good intentions, but it's another thing to follow through. I think investors see this news as the company making good on what they started.

I'm really glad to see this.

Interesting marketmaker activity today in ATTP. I'm usually pretty understanding and tolerant of how MMs work, but the past couple of days in this stock and another one I watch closely even has me wondering about what the MMs are trying to do.

It looked to me like they wanted to stop the buying early (which it appears they did) by widening the spread. Then crushing the bid on minor sells. It looks like they sure didn't want it to go anywhere.

You'd think they want to encourage trading. And usually I think they do. Except perhaps when they are caught short.

I get the feeling at least some MMs are far short of shares and perhaps can't get them through conventional means. So perhaps they are playing "hard ball."

Maybe if the MMs get back to "flat" then perhaps we will see some normal MM activity.

That's just a guess on my part and purely speculation, but the MM activity sure does look different than normal to me and I haven't seen selling that would justify it.

Very interesting.
