hi kathy, I'd be extra cautious of the sox today. at the moment it's breaking to the downside of that uptrend line it was on, and that's the daily chart so it's pretty important. failed to break resistance 2-3 days ago, which signaled this downturn. some individual stocks like amd might buck the trend for awhile but if the sox doesn't hold 1108 (as of this moment it's not), I would not buy in unless it appears it will climb back by close. my 2 cents, hope you are well. if you need a closer look at charts of individual semis let me know. stan
