Hello and Welcome!

Thanks for calling me an enemy of MSFT - I work hard at being a realist and not blindly following the pack :) But I believe MSFT is it's own worse enemy. What my post does not explain in detail is that I make a living with MANY products INCLUDING MSFT (I'm even certified on them!) - so I'm very interested in what happens on all sides of the "game" people are so keen to play.

In fact, I have a stack of books on Active Directory and Windows 2000 collected and prioritized for my summer reading. Should be fun!

In fact I like some of MSFT products - sell them all the time. Does that mean I have to like the company and the people who run it? Do I have to endorse their tactics because I make a living from their products? Come on, stop playing school yard games here but if you feel the need to attack me to feel better...

You know - I've sat more than a few times red-faced and hard pressed to explain to a client why a MSFT product did not do as it promised. Why they just lost all their data and why it's going to cost them untold $1000s to fix or $1000s more to upgrade just to maintain their systems! Great news for an investor - bad news when you're in the trenches with your reputation on the line. It's a shame that the "greatest company in Amercia" hides behind marketing hype and vaporware :)

So do you want my opinion on other high tech companies as well? You won't find them all flattering either. If you want to point to these posts to "discredit" my opinion - go ahead. At least I'm out in the trenches working with the products and clients not just reading the press releases and blindly following :)

Regards,
