haqi, in an earlier post I said you were a curmudgeon. It would have been more accurate to say that you are a gentleman who usually walks softly, and you are not without humor. Curmudgeonliness is but a facet of your personality. I meant no offense, as curmudgeons are some of my favorite people. I admire the dedication to cause that you and others have regarding pro-life. It's my opinion that the leaders in the pro-life movement will sell you out to the pols every time when it comes to a constitutional amendment. They are like Lucy playing you for Charlie Brown. I don't know any alternative, but the current approach has not worked, is not working, and is designed not to work. People need to understand that abortion is wrong as a matter of justice. Scientific and philosophical arguments need to be constructed. The current crop of pro-life leaders seem to have no interest in doing this. They are comfortable in their office suites in Washington, and they have a great fund raising mechanism in place now. It behooves them to keep things as they are.
