TORONTO - In light of BCE Inc.'s (BCE/TSE) planned spinoff of most of its interest in Nortel Networks Corp. (NT/TSE) Standard& Poor's Canadian index operations has increased the relative weight of Nortel by about 10.4% in the Toronto Stock Exchange 300 composite index, 13.9% in the S&P/TSE 60 and 11.8% in the TSE 100. Standard & Poor's is decreasing the relative weight of
BCE by about 10% in the TSE 300, 13.4% in the S&P/TSE 60
and 11.4% in the TSE 100.
